The APEC Higher Education Research Center was established on January 26, 2015, with its secretariat located at the Institute of International and Comparative Education at Beijing Normal University

As an expert organization promoting research and cooperation in higher education in the Asia Pacific region, the APEC Higher Education Research Center will be committed to building an information platform for higher education exchange within the APEC region, conducting joint research in the field of higher education among APEC economies, building a platform for higher education exchange and cooperation, and promoting the development of higher education in APEC economies.
